Disable widget Signature

Eli 4 weeks ago 0

Is there any way to remove or disable the automatic signature created by the widget when composing a new email?

Rarely updates, whereas official Gmail widget syncs immediately every time.

I really love the transparent styling that I can get with this plugin, but the infrequent syncing makes it almost unusable.

I deleted an email more than 15 minutes ago, the official widget naturally synced straight away, Widgets for Gmail still shows the email as unread. How often is it set to update? Every 30 minutes or something?

We need to be able to adjust the sync frequency.

Only show unread

Suggestion: a check box to only display unread mail (and SMS, I guess). That allows the widget to be used as a one-glance check on whether anything needs attention. Failing that at least make it possible to make the read and unread looks radically different - different colour of background, perhaps. Something that is noticeable without looking closely.

katzoft widget adding html garble to all replies from widget?!?

bstark 1 year ago 0

I've been running into recurring issues (see example below) where every time I reply to an email sent to my gmail account using the Katzoft widget I installed on the home page of my LG G5 phone (on the T-mobile network), the following SEA OF ANNOYING HMTL GARBLE is inserted below my reply -- which is creating lots of frustration for others on the team.

Is this a common problem or is there something I need to adjust in the settings that could fix it? Please let me know ASAP since I'm currently on the verge of uninstalling the Katzoft widget altogether since the frustration of it's creating for others isn't worth it.

I'd appreciate any tips, fixes, or other suggestions! Thanks, Bryan

I'm replying right now to test and see if the Android system update I just installed solves the problem of the html code?
I've posted a comment/ticket on the Katzoft support blog, but have subsequently noticed that it hasn't happened with my past two replies, so let me know what you receive.
Thanks, Bryan

Won't add widget

can't seem to add the widget on my Nexus 5, with a Gmail account getting the following message

Any clues?

Unread mail hard to spot

Vytenis 2 years ago • updated 2 years ago 1

Could it be possible to make the unread mesages stand out more? I've set up the widget to transparent background, white lettering. My phone background is dark. But once I get a new mail, I only notice that because of the little number in the header. once I see than number, only then do I notice that one of the messages is "bold".

Great widget,

Best of luck

Widget stops updating

Kevin Bartels 2 years ago 0

This is the second time the widget has stopped updating. I click on it and it takes me to my inbox where I can see the new mail but they're not displaying on the widget anymore. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted but it's not fixing the issue. I'm on Samsung Galaxy S4 android version 5.0

A way to open email in gmail not in whatever opens instead.

It seems to be opening in your app when you select an email in the widget, is there a way to have it open in gmail instead?

Can you add options for hiding "Show more conversations" and for a smaller font size?

Otherwise I'm loving this, thanks!
